Well, a few weeks ago my ex-bf (I mean best friend here) took it upon herself to make an attempt at hooking me up with someone. His name is Ken. At first I was like, "oh, that's cool. Thanks." But this kid, I just facepalm everytime he comes to my mind. I could tell, after txting him for five minutes, he was strange. I swear, these are the Rules of Ken Txting: 1. If a word can be replaced with a letter, do it. 2. If there is a lack of response, call them until they respond. 3. Always steer the conversation towards sex.
The first time I txted with him, he called me eleven times. Most of the time I would just let it ring, and others I would hit ignore. But he kept callin me, so I asked him if he knew he was doing it, and he said' "yeah, answer me." I was like, "no, I'm not going to." But he kept txting me and bein strange, he eventually gave me his friend Randy's number who I txting thinking he would be not like Ken, whoch he isn't but. He's just as strange. He believes that him amd Ken are in a relationship, which, btw, isn't true. But Randy seemed to believe it and kept saying that I was screwing it up, so I quit txting them all together. Then, all was right with the world for a month or so.. Until last Saturday.
I got a txt from Skylar, Ken's "cousin." He was tellin me how he was Ken's cousin for Florida, a blonde hair, blue eyed surfer with a twin brother. I almost thought it might really be his cousin too. There were three reasons I didn't. 1. He followed Ken's Rules for Txting. 2. His area code was, wait for it, the same as mine here in Michigan. 3. He kept asking my why I didn't like Ken and telling me to give him another chane. I told him I did 't believe him amd called him out on the Florida lie, to which he confessed. He refused to give up the act though, we went for a long while arguing about it, finally I said forget it, I believe you (lie). He said okay, blah blah blah night.
The next day Randy txted me and said it was Ken. What did I do?
I facepalmed.
Why do people have to be so difficult?
